If you love rajma, there’s nothing better than the Munsiari variety – named after the region it is grown in. These beans were harvested by a women’s farmer group and brought to you for a sumptuously fresh experience.

Rich in proteins and fibre. Rajma is rich in proteins that aid in maintaining the integrity of the body tissues.

Uses. Soak rajma overnight and pressure cook to deactivate the components that lead to flatulence and indigestion.

Munsiari Rajma

250 gms rajma
2 finely chopped onions
3 finely chopped tomatoes
1 tablespoon ginger & garlic paste
1 teaspoon coriander powder and chilli powder
1/4 teaspoon garam masala
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
Salt to taste
Ghee as needed

Wash and soak rajma overnight. Pressure cook in the same water. Heat ghee. Add ginger and garlic paste followed by onions. Fry till brown. Add tomatoes and make into a gravy. Add salt to taste, turmeric, coriander powder, chilli powder, garam masala. Add rajma. Mash some rajma. Add the rajma water as required and cook till you get the desired consistency. Garnish with fresh coriander. Enjoy with rice!
